TEHRAN – Iran’s Fars News Agency, which is affiliated with the regime, reported Monday morning that a ceasefire has officially begun at 7:30 a.m. Tehran time.

According to the report, the ceasefire followed a final wave of Iranian missile strikes that caused casualties. The announcement marks the first official acknowledgment from Iranian sources that hostilities have ceased — hours after conflicting messages from Tehran denied any formal proposal had been received.

It remains unclear whether the ceasefire is part of the U.S.-brokered agreement announced by President Donald Trump, or a separate unilateral declaration.

The IDF has not issued a statement, and Israeli officials have yet to confirm the timing or terms of the ceasefire.
