JERUSALEM — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Sunday evening, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem, with US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who expressed unwavering support for the Prime Minister and the State of Israel. Noem also expressed great appreciation for the Prime Minister’s policy of building a fence along the Egyptian border and for his conduct of the war.
Noem visited the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem shortly after landing in Israel. She wrote in a note at the wall: “Israel & God’s chosen people — We stand with you.”

Noem was welcomed at the airport by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who tweeted that she will become the first ever US cabinet secretary to “participate in Jerusalem Day.
She is also set to attend a memorial ceremony alongside Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar in honor of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, the two staffers at the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC, who were murdered last week in a shooting attack, according to a statement from Israel’s Foreign Ministry.
