JERUSALEM — Hamas has long claimed that for humanitarian purposes it requires fuel and that there is currently not enough fuel for these needs in Gaza. Yet at the same time the terrorist organization continues to use fuel for propaganda purposes, such as making a mass screening outside the Shifa hospital of its battles with the IDF, including drones, anti-tank missiles and RPGs fired at troops.

At the same time, it is clear that the terrorist organization has been stockpiling fuel underground for a significant period. This was also verified in an intercepted phone call from a senior health official in Shifa hospital who admitted that if fuel were provided to the hospital, Hamas would immediately confiscate it even though they have half a million (or a million) liters of fuel already stockpiled for emergencies.
