JERUSALEM (VIN) – The terrorists who murdered 17-year-old Rina Shnerb and wounded her father, Rabbi Eitan Shnerb and brother Dvir near Ein Bubin spring in August have been captured in a joint operation between the IDF and Israeli Border Security.

Three terrorists were arrested in connection with the attack. According to reports, the terrorists are from Ramallah and villages in the Binyamin areas, and are members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) organization. They are also suspected of playing roles in other attacks in the region.

The Schnerb family has thanked security forces for their efforts, saying “Throughout the entire process we had full confidence in the security forces and we thank them for the effort invested in catching the killers.” They continued, “We call on the government to provide full security to every traveler and on the nation of Israel to continue to live, to travel and to add good throughout our land.

The head of the terror cell responsible for the attack, Samer Mina Salim Arbid, was hospitalized after being interrogated by the Shin Bet. The Shin Bet possessed special legal permits for this interrogation, due to a suspicion that the cell possessed an additional explosive for another attack.

A second explosive was found in the area by the security forces, but but it was disposed of without causing any harm.
