The Population Immigration and Border Authority issued new data regarding the general Israeli public; In addition to the number of bouncing babies born in Israel, the report finds that 82,315 Israelis were married and 26,990 new Israelis made Aliyah.

Just before Rosh Hashanah, the Population Immigration and Border Authority put out new data collected from the last Jewish New Year to today.

Among the data, it was published that 186,923 babies were born over the past year, while roughly 42,000 people died, 82,315 Israelis were married, 23,855 got divorced, 26,990 new Israelis made Aliyah and 732,812 new ID cards were issued.

Last year, the Israeli population stood at 8,412,000, with 6,300,000 million being Jews, 1,746,000 (20.7%) Arabs and 366,000 (4.4%) non-Arab Christian residents.
