A public bus came under fire Wednesday morning in Jerusalem in a terror shooting attack.

The number 32 bus, operated by the Egged company, was traveling along Golda Meir Boulevard, outside the neighborhood of Ramot, when two men pulled up in a car and fired several shots at it.

A small number of passengers suffered from anxiety and other minor injuries as they scrambled to take cover, but the bus was not hit by the gunfire, the United Hatzalah rescue service said.

There were no serious injuries in the incident and the shooters drove off.

Security forces were searching for the vehicle, said to be a small truck.

An eyewitness told Army Radio that the bus was full of passengers at the time of the attack, and that they all lay down on the floor of the vehicle to avoid being hit.

The incident came a day after one of the bloodiest stretches in the recent wave of terror attacks.

Three Palestinian attackers targeted civilians in Jerusalem, Petah Tikva and Tel Aviv, leaving one person dead and more than a dozen wounded.
