Three soldiers were wounded by gunfire Tuesday night during an arrest operation in the Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

The army said it was checking whether the soldiers were hit by Palestinian gunmen or by friendly fire.

During the operation a Palestinian driver attempted to ram the soldiers with his car, but was unsuccesful. At least one Palestinian assailant was seriously wounded in the course of the operation.

Fourteen people were injured Monday in a car-ramming attack in Jerusalem, including 18-month-old Yotam Sitbon, who was seriously wounded.

Three Israelis were lightly hurt on Monday evening when rocks were hurled at their car near the Beit Aryeh settlement in the central West Bank.
