Two Israeli women were injured Thursday night in separate stone-throwing attacks on their cars.

A woman was lightly hurt when stones were thrown at her car on Route 60, near the Karmei Tzur settlement, north of the West Bank city of Hebron. The woman, who is pregnant and was cut by glass shards, was taken by Magen David Adom rescue personnel to Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem.

Hours earlier, a woman in her 60s was lightly wounded in a stone-throwing attack on her car on Route 431, close to the central town of Ramle.

Magen David Adom paramedics administered first aid treatment at the scene before evacuating the woman to Assaf Harofeh hospital near Rishon Letzion, the Maariv website reported. She sustained wounds to her face from the stones and from shattered glass.

The woman was travelling with her 8-month-old grandson at the time. The child was unhurt in the incident.

Shots were fired from a vehicle Thursday evening at IDF soldiers standing at a hitchhiking post close to the settlement of Ofra in the northern West Bank. There were no injuries.

The car from which the shots were fired fled the scene, the Maariv website said, adding that security forces were searching for the vehicle.

Also Thursday evening, a pipe bomb was hurled at a Border Police position in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of A-Tur, and two explosive devices were thrown at a Border Police force near the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

No injuries were reported in either incident, the Walla news website said.

An explosive device was also hurled at an IDF post near the Jewish cemetery in the West Bank city of Hebron. Near the Judea Regional Brigade, Palestinians threw a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle, Israel Radio reported.

Palestinians also hurled stones at vehicles both south and north of the Etzion settlement bloc.

No damage or injuries were reported in any of the incidents, according to Walla.

Earlier Thursday, a Palestinian man attempted to stab an IDF soldier in Hebron, in the second such attack of the day. The soldier was not hurt in the attack, which took place in the city’s Beit Hadassah neighborhood. The assailant was shot by security services, and police reported that he died of his wounds.

The attack came just four hours after an IDF soldier was lightly wounded in a similar stabbing attack in the city, near the Tomb of the Patriarchs on the road between the West Bank city and the adjacent Jewish settlement of Kiryat Arba. According to police, the incident occurred during a violent demonstration. A Palestinian man armed with a knife approached Israeli forces. He stabbed one of the IDF soldiers, slicing his face. The soldier recovered from the blow and fought back. The attacker then tried to assault a Border Police officer and was shot to death.

Also Thursday, an Israeli woman was lightly injured during a stabbing in the southernmost city of Eilat, police said. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The suspected stabber fled the scene shortly after the attack, according to police spokeswoman Luba Samri. Police arrived in force at the scene to search for the attacker and collect evidence and eyewitness testimony. An Arab teenager was arrested during a police search and was taken in for further questioning, Samri said. The motive behind the attack was not yet clear, Samri said, and police were investigating whether it was nationalist or criminal in nature.
