FLORIDA (VINnews) – In a stunning victory, a 42 year old businessman is reportedly leading tonight to become the first Orthodox Jewish mayor of Surfside, Florida.
In a special election held today, Shlomo Danziger beat out incumbent mayor Charles Burkett who gained international renown last year in the tragic Surfside building collapse.
Originally from New York and the father of five, Danziger has been living in Surfside since 2010.
