The girl accompanied a 22-year-old acquaintance to his home, where she found two of his friends waiting. The three then allegedly forced themselves on her for hours. All three have been arrested.
Three men in their early 20s were arrested on Sunday and Monday on suspicion of raping a 17-year-old girl in Herzliya over the weekend.
Allegedly, the victim was familiar with one of her attackers, a 22 year old from Herzliya. He reportedly invited her to his apartment there on Friday night, where two 20-year-old male friends of his, residents of southern Israel, were waiting.
The three then allegedly raped the 17 year old, one after another, for hours upon end.
When the ordeal finally ended, the alleged attackers left the apartment, with the teenager following suit shortly thereafter. The Israel Police received information about an alleged gang rape and began investigating, and the girl filed an official complaint on Monday.
The 22-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, and the two others were arrested on Monday. The former, a former resident of the south, was to be brought for a remand hearing on Monday evening with the others to come before a magistrates’ court for that purpose the following day.
