Reuven Kahane and a group of Silicon and Wadi investors are negotiating the purchase of a Jerusalem and Manhattan Hotel to be transformed and merged into “Techotels”. The Hotels will help brand and serve as an innovation lab for the investors’ latest gadgets and innovations geared to the hotel and entertainment industries.
In addition to the latest technologies and tech sponsored conferences, the Techotels will seek to be the central hub for hi tech entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and executives in NY, Israel and the Bay Area where the purchase of another hotel is anticipated within the year.
The two year old Jerusalem hotel located minutes from Old City will keep its world famous brand, while the Park Avenue south hotel in the heart of Silicon Alley will change its name. The hotels will include guest friendly apps,touch and sensor screens technologies ,Tesla car services, full service video conference rooms and the fastest internet connections.
The closings are set for late December. Eli Pollack of Pollack Real Estate Consultants of Jerusalem and Bunim Klein. & Sruli Schechter of NY equities are representing the sellers of the estimated 325 million dollar purchase.
