Israel – The Jerusalem Municipality has lined the streets of Jerusalem with over 1,000 umbrellas, floating magically in the sunny skies above pedestrians flocking cobblestone-lined streets.

The installation marks the municipality’s latest campaign attempt to boost tourism and draw visitors to the capital in the coming season – in a whimsical, cheery fashion – which is set to run through October.

Street artists and music productions are expected to liven up the scene along with the umbrellas in the coming months.
