Thousands of Jerusalemites took to the streets of the downtown neighborhood of Nahlaot for a festive Purim party on Friday.
Sporting creative costumes that feature the likes of Hamas and Islamic State terrorists to superheroes, princesses, and creative vegetarians, revelers jammed the streets and alleyways of the capital’s center and celebrated the holiday in which Jews mark their victory over Persia’s attempts to annihilate them thousands of years ago.
