The IDF attacked a Hamas target in the Gaza Strip following a rocket launch towards Israeli border communities.
There was no report of damage or injuries after the projectile was believed to fall in an open field.
The IDF Spokesperson said one rocket launch was detected and residents of the area were not instructed to take any special measures.
