The IDF has released footage of some of the targets it hit in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip in the early Friday morning hours as a result of two rockets being launched at the Tel Aviv area earlier that night.

The military struck 100 targets throughout the night Friday, including the headquarters responsible for the planning and execution of terror attacks in the West Bank, an underground complex that served as Hamas’ main rocket-manufacturing site, and a military training site that also functioned as the group’s drone program.

The “West Bank headquarters” of Hamas in Gaza is the body responsible for guiding Hamas terrorist operatives in Judea and Samaria by leading and directing terrorist attacks, building terror infrastructures, transmitting instructions for terror activities, transferring money and logistical support for the carrying out of terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit wrote.

Several underground infrastructures and military compounds were also struck, including naval sites belonging to the group.

Local Palestinian media in Gaza said that Israeli naval vessels also took part in the strikes off the coast of Rafah.

According to the IDF, The naval power infrastructures are held in these compounds and are used to create weapons for the benefit of the force.

The Israeli airstrikes came in response to two rockets that were fired towards Tel Aviv from Gaza. Sirens were activated throughout the Gush Dan regional council in central Israel around 9 p.m. with two loud explosions heard.

On Friday, the Israel Police announced that they had located the remains of one rocket which, according to reports, had fallen in an open area in the city of Holon outside of Tel Aviv. The second rocket is believed to have landed in the sea. There was no damage or injuries.
